China's first single-sided anchored intelligent automatic observation buoy has been deployed.

Mars Finance News: On April 22, it was reported that the Chinese Academy of Sciences Ocean Research Institute announced that a 6-meter diameter disk-shaped single-sided mooring intelligent automatic observation buoy was successfully deployed and officially put into operation yesterday (April 21) in the Rongcheng Sea area of Shandong. It conducts safe, continuous, and real-time full water column profiling observations of China’s nearshore environment. The buoy is based on domestically controlled independent technology, achieving for the first time continuous, stable, real-time ocean water profile observations. The collected data can be transmitted in real-time to shore-based laboratories, thoroughly solving the issues of data discontinuity, lag, and sparse sampling present in traditional observation methods. It truly enables high-frequency, full-depth, long-term series acquisition of ocean environmental parameters. Combined with intelligent perception, autonomous decision-making, and dynamic adaptive artificial intelligence technology, it effectively promotes the transformation of ocean observation modes from “passive response” to “active prediction and precise regulation,” greatly enhancing the intelligence, accuracy, and efficiency of ocean water profile observations.
