According to ZachXBT's disclosure, Bitcoin Depot, a Bitcoin ATM operator, has issues related to fees and security. He stated that an elderly American fraud victim was allowed to convert $25k in fiat currency to Bitcoin through a Bitcoin Depot ATM, with an offered price of $108k per Bitcoin, while the market price at the time was $75k. Ultimately, the transaction received 0.232 BTC for $25k, which is worth approximately $17.5k in actual value; at the same time, he mentioned that Bitcoin Depot was recently hacked, involving 54 BTC (about $3.26 million) that went unnoticed for several days.
