Federal Reserve's Williams: Monetary policy is "in a favorable position" to manage risks

Federal Reserve’s Williams states that uncertainty and two-way risks have both increased, and monetary policy is “in a favorable position” to manage risks; the Fed will have to pay attention to data to observe how risks evolve. Williams said it is too early to judge the impact of soaring energy prices on employment market data; the economy is in a state of low hiring, low layoffs, and stable unemployment rate.
