In the past couple of days, I saw a major mainstream blockchain about to upgrade/hard fork again, and everyone in the group is guessing whether the ecosystem will move. Honestly, what I care more about is: for users like us, what exactly has modularization changed? Basically, the feeling of "the chain stops and I get stuck" is decreasing—after separating execution, data, and settlement, the front end still involves clicking confirm, but behind the scenes it’s more like switching to cheaper/more efficient routes, sometimes with additional backup channels.
But don’t overhype it either; the interactions with those stablecoin pools in the wallet still depend on bridges, liquidity, and whether the app you’re using has made cross-chain/network switching user-friendly. Anyway, my current approach is pretty simple: minimize fuss before the upgrade, wait until the chain stabilizes, then move my positions back. If I lose some, I just note it down for review… that’s how I do it for now.
