Just now, I got a little itchy and wanted to chase again, my mouse moved to the add position button, paused for two seconds and asked myself: Am I seeing new information, or is that feeling of “missing out” in the group pushing my position... To put it simply, emotions are the best at disguising themselves as logic.
Recently, the fee rate has been a bit extreme again, everyone arguing whether to reverse or continue squeezing the bubble. I now prefer to think of it as an on-chain “thermometer”: if the temperature is too high, don’t rush in hard; first see if you’re running a fever yourself.
To make an analogy: it’s like driving in the rain, no matter how fast the wipers wipe, it doesn’t mean the road is safer; the key is whether you see clearly ahead and whether your speed matches your line of sight. Anyway, I’ve added a small rule for myself: if I haven’t clearly written down the entry reasons and exit conditions, I’ll treat it as not understanding and won’t act for now.
