The Supreme People's Procuratorate releases the first bilingual version of the "Intellectual Property Procuratorial Work White Paper (2025)"

The Supreme People’s Procuratorate released the “Intellectual Property Procuratorial Work White Paper (2025)” today, and for the first time, an English version was launched on the Supreme People’s Procuratorate’s official English website.
The white paper comprehensively introduces the basic situation of the procuratorial organs’ lawful and integrated performance of prosecutorial functions in intellectual property criminal, civil, administrative, and public interest litigation in 2025.
In 2025, procuratorial organs at all levels fully and accurately implement the criminal policy of leniency and severity, lawfully punish crimes infringing on intellectual property rights, handling and reviewing 11,341 cases involving 25,160 individuals accused of infringing on intellectual property crimes, with 9,135 cases involving 19,102 individuals prosecuted, and 5,105 individuals not prosecuted.
National procuratorial organs also handled 1,251 civil intellectual property cases; 1,795 administrative intellectual property cases; and accepted 741 clues related to public interest litigation in the field of intellectual property, with 612 cases filed. (CCTV News)
