Platform X introduces a custom timeline feature, allowing specific topics to be pinned to the homepage tab.
Golden Finance reports that on April 22nd, X product lead Nikita Bier posted on the X platform stating, “Today, we are officially launching one of the most significant updates in X platform history: the custom timeline feature.
This feature allows you to pin specific topics to the homepage tabs. The platform now supports over 75 topics, enabling you to deeply immerse yourself in your favorite verticals. This feature is powered by Grok, which understands each piece of content and combines algorithmic personalized recommendations — meaning every timeline is tailored just for you. The more you interact with a topic, the better the experience.
This has been a massive project spanning several months, and we are very excited for you to try it out firsthand. Currently, this feature is available in early access to Premium subscription users on iOS, with the Android version coming soon.”
