Caught this interesting move last week - IMC Trading, one of those big Dutch market makers, just brought on Alex Casimo as their Chief Commercial Officer for crypto. The guy's background is pretty solid, co-founded Portofino Technologies and had stints at Citadel Securities, so clearly knows the institutional side of things. What's more telling is IMC's scale here - they're already trading across 50 exchanges with like $3 billion daily volume. Alex Casimo joining to expand that crypto book feels like the classic story right now: traditional finance realizing they can't ignore digital assets anymore. Better regs, clearer infrastructure, institutional demand picking up. Seems like everyone's making their move into crypto at once.
