U.S. President Trump delivered a speech on the evening of April 1 local time, claiming himself that there was a “rapid, decisive, overwhelming victory” in the Iran conflict. In response, on April 2, Iran’s Information Committee Chairman Hazratli told Iran’s official media that Trump’s speech was “pure nonsense.” Hazratli said Iran’s missile capabilities are “growing stronger every day,” and Iran has stored a large number of missiles at various locations; Iran’s enriched uranium remains “safe and sound”; the Strait of Hormuz is still under Iran’s control. He also emphasized that the attacks by the U.S. and Israel have strengthened the unity of the Iranian people and the cohesion among officials. (CCTV International News)
