Pakistani Prime Minister: Hope the US and Iran continue to abide by the ceasefire agreement
Golden Finance reports that on April 22, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz tweeted that he hopes the United States and Iran will continue to abide by the ceasefire agreement and reach a comprehensive peace agreement during the anticipated second round of Islamabad talks, thereby permanently ending the conflict. Shehbaz said that he himself, along with Pakistani Army Chief of Staff Munir, thanked U.S. President Trump for accepting Pakistan’s request and agreeing to extend the ceasefire so that ongoing diplomatic efforts could continue.
