TrendForce March Panel Price Observation: TV and Monitor Panel Prices Rise, Laptop Panel Prices Stabilize
TrendForce Jibang Consulting announced the panel price trend for March: in March 2026, TV and monitor panel prices increased, while laptop panel prices stabilized. Among them, demand for LCD monitor panels remained steady in March, and although the production of most display specifications was not directly affected by rising memory prices and shortages, recently, various raw materials and components have also reflected increased costs. Therefore, panel manufacturers’ component and production costs have all risen. Panel manufacturers’ cost pressures have surged and are actively reflected in price increases. Currently, the forecast for March shows a slight expansion in monitor panel price increases, with open cell panels, 23.8-inch FHD IPS expected to rise by $0.3–$0.4, and 27-inch FHD IPS expected to rise by $0.3. For panel modules, 23.8-inch FHD IPS is expected to increase by $0.3, and 27-inch FHD IPS by $0.1–$0.2. (Cailian Press)
