Ford recalls nearly 255K SUVs for camera image processing module errors

Ford is recalling nearly 255,000 SUVs, including the 2025 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator, due to a software flaw in the camera image processing module. This defect can lead to an intermittent loss of the rearview camera image or advanced driver-assist features like blindspot monitoring and lane-keeping assist, increasing the risk of a crash. The issue is more prevalent in dense urban environments and will be addressed with an over-the-air software update or a free dealer visit.
