Golden Finance reports that on April 22, according to AXIOS, a regional source familiar with mediation work and an Israeli source knowledgeable about the discussions revealed that one of the reasons Trump extended the ceasefire is that mediators from the United States and Pakistan have been waiting for Iran’s new Supreme Leader Moojtabah to respond to the latest proposal and to give clear instructions to the negotiators. The Israeli source said that Moojtabah is expected to respond on Wednesday local time.
