I checked the ranking of oxygen-based bleaches, and I think there are more options than I expected, so many people might be confused. Depending on the type of stain—like wine stains, mud, or egg yolk discoloration—the effectiveness can vary quite a bit.

When I compared 16 products, the top was Miyoshi Soap’s Living Oxygen Bleach. It’s a powder type, and it works quite well to remove wine and mud stains even without soaking. Soaking makes it almost completely white. The next best is Saraya’s product, which features a natural aroma. It seems to be strong against water-soluble stains.

Kao’s Wide Haiter PRO Antibacterial Liquid, ranked third, is a liquid type and has excellent effects on wine and mud stains. However, foundation stains are difficult to remove with any product, which is a challenge. For large quantities and cost-effectiveness, Mitsuei’s Easy Color Bleach is also a candidate.

A key point in the oxygen bleach ranking is that the effectiveness varies greatly depending on soaking time. If you want to use it for baby products, Pigeon and Shabon-dama Soap’s additive-free types are recommended. They are suitable for colored and patterned items and also offer deodorizing effects.

Personally, I think the best approach is to use different products depending on the type of stain. While referring to the oxygen bleach ranking, it’s important to choose one that fits your lifestyle. Decide your priorities—powder or liquid, scent or no scent, cost balance—and then make your choice.
