Trump: Iran hopes for the Strait to be open so they can earn $500 million a day.
Odaily Planet Daily News reports that U.S. President Trump said that Iran does not want to close the Strait of Hormuz. They want the strait to remain open so that they can earn $500 million every day. Therefore, if it is closed, they will lose this money. Iran says it wants to close the strait because I have completely blocked (closed) it, so they are only trying to “save face.” Four days ago, someone came to me and said, “Iran wants to open the strait immediately.” But if we do that, it will be impossible to reach an agreement with Iran unless we destroy other parts of their country, including their leaders.
