Mastercard joins the Blockchain Security Standards Committee
Odaily Star Planet Daily News reports that the payment giant MasterCard has joined the Blockchain Security Standards Committee (BSSC). The latter is a non-profit alliance dedicated to developing and maintaining blockchain security standards. Its statement also mentions Figment, Coinbase, Fireblocks, Anchorage Digital, and others. It is also reported that MasterCard plans to actively participate in the BSSC Security and Privacy Working Group, providing technical guidance and operational experience.
