Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to two informed sources, SpaceX has agreed to acquire Cursor for more than 50 billion US dollars. Cursor is a fast-growing artificial intelligence startup focused on developing code-writing software. As SpaceX is carrying out this deal, it is also getting ready for what could be one of the largest IPOs in history. Founded in 2022, Cursor has raised more than 3 billion US dollars and, at one point, drew significant attention as one of the fastest-growing AI startups. SpaceX previously said that Cursor granted SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor for 60 billion US dollars, or alternatively, SpaceX may choose to pay 10 billion US dollars for the results of the collaboration.
