Oilfield Service Firm Halliburton is Discussing Commercial Terms With Customers for Venezuela Operations
Halliburton is actively discussing commercial terms with customers for restarting operations in Venezuela, driven by renewed interest in the country’s oil reserves following the easing of U.S. sanctions. CEO Jeff Miller confirmed discussions are progressing and many of the company’s facilities are in better condition than expected. Halliburton, which exited Venezuela in 2020, has also begun recruiting engineers and technicians for its potential return.
