The Iranian military warns the United Arab Emirates not to launch attacks from its territory.

The spokesperson for the Central Command of Hamadan Anbia in Iran stated on the evening of the 20th local time that any infringement on Iran’s territory and national sovereignty will be targeted for retaliation. The spokesperson also issued a warning to the United Arab Emirates, saying that if they again launch attacks from their territory against Abu Musa Island and Greater Tunb Island located in the Persian Gulf, Iran’s armed forces will strike the UAE’s Ras Al Khaimah. Abu Musa Island, Greater Tunb Island, and Lesser Tunb Island are located in the Persian Gulf near the Strait of Hormuz, currently controlled by Iran, and the UAE also claims sovereignty over these three islands.
