Recently, China Communications Construction Company’s subsidiary, China Communications Waterway Planning and Design Institute, signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Xingce Future to accelerate the engineering application of space computing power in transportation and waterway sectors. Xingce Future is a space computing power and AI application service provider originating from Tsinghua University’s “Tian Ge Project” team. According to the agreement, the two parties will collaborate around four main directions: First, focus on innovative applications of space computing power to jointly develop an integrated “land, sea, air, and space” transportation solution; Second, deepen full-chain scientific research cooperation, jointly apply for projects, build platforms, and cultivate talent to achieve technological complementarity and resource sharing; Third, leverage the roles of both parties’ high-end think tanks to expand specific scenarios such as major engineering monitoring, multi-dimensional environmental monitoring, and global AIS tracking enhancement; Fourth, explore on-orbit deployment and testing of transportation large models, conduct pilot verification of typical scenarios, form replicable cases, and promote the commercialization of solutions in the national transportation and waterway industry.
