Just spent way too much time down the LinkedIn follower rabbit hole and honestly, it's a whole thing. Apparently a ton of professionals actually buy LinkedIn followers to make their profiles look more established right from the start. Like, I get it—first impressions on LinkedIn happen in like two seconds, and people definitely judge based on follower count before they even read your bio.

So yeah, I started looking into which services people actually use for this. UseViral keeps popping up as the most popular one, and from what I've read, the process is pretty straightforward—you just submit your profile link, pick a package, and followers trickle in gradually so it doesn't look totally sus. SidesMedia and Growthoid are also mentioned a lot if you want more flexibility or longer-term growth plans.

The thing is, all these services promise the same basic stuff: they don't ask for your password, followers arrive slowly over time, and it's supposed to help your profile look more credible without actually changing how LinkedIn works. Some people swear by it for outreach or job hunting—apparently when your profile has visible followers, people respond to messages more often.

I'm not saying you should definitely buy LinkedIn followers or anything, but it's definitely a thing that exists and way more people do it than probably admit. Whether it actually moves the needle long-term though? That's the question I'm still sitting with.
