California ride-share driver group sues Uber

A California ride-share driver advocacy group, Rideshare Drivers United (RDU), has filed a lawsuit against Uber, alleging the company violated Proposition 22. The complaint claims Uber terminates drivers improperly, lacks a fair appeals process, restricts drivers from declining rides, and withholds earnings information. RDU seeks a court declaration that Uber is disqualified from classifying its drivers as independent contractors due to these alleged breaches.
