Codex active users exceed 4 million, climbing to the next tier from 3 million within two weeks

According to Beating Monitoring, OpenAI Codex project leader Thomas Sottiaux and CEO Sam Altman posted on April 21st announcing that the monthly active users of Codex have reached 4 million, less than two weeks after the last announcement of 3 million.

To celebrate this new milestone, OpenAI reset the rate limits for all tiered users again on the same day.
