Gold Crash Warning! The Key Pressure Level at Midnight—No Change to the Short-Position Thinking!
Juejin Laomao | 2026.04.22
The market will never let down everyone who stays clear-headed. Behind extreme volatility, there are often the clearest trend signals hidden.
From the 1-hour chart, after gold touched the 4833 high, it moved into a smooth bearish trend, directly breaking below the lower Bollinger Band support. It then dipped to around 4723, and the current price is oscillating around 4743. The Bollinger Bands’ upper and lower bands have opened downward; the upper band forms strong resistance around 4829. After the lower band support at 4733 was briefly pierced, any subsequent rebound here will turn into a key resistance level.
At midnight, the overall approach remains primarily focused on going short. First, look for the rebound resistance at 4760-4770; strong resistance is in the 4800-4810 area. As long as the price cannot move back above the lower Bollinger Band, the bearish trend will not fundamentally change. For downside support, first look at 4720-4710; if it breaks again, it will most likely further open up downward space.
Special reminder for friends who are stuck in a losing position: being trapped and trading with an empty position are two completely different concepts. When you hold no position, you can flexibly operate according to the trend, but after you’re trapped, your mindset and risk tolerance will be amplified—especially during midnight when volatility is fierce and liquidity is insufficient. At this time, blindly trading easily leads to repeated stop-out sweeps, instead expanding your unrealized losses. It’s recommended that you stabilize your position tonight first, avoid any impulsive moves, and leave your trading decisions for tomorrow’s daytime session. Once the market rhythm is clearer and liquidity recovers, then formulate a solid plan to unwind positions based on the chart, and avoid the risk of disorderly midnight fluctuations.
Trading involves risk; enter the market with caution. The analysis above is only a personal idea-sharing and does not constitute any trading advice. Profit and loss are your own responsibility.
