Streaming devices are really convenient for watching Netflix or Amazon Prime Video on a big TV screen. Fire TV series, Chromecast, Apple TV, and others—there are many options, but honestly, many people might be unsure which one to choose. I’ve recently tried out some products myself, so I want to share some points to consider when choosing a streaming device.

Speed performance is surprisingly important. If apps take too long to launch or menus feel sluggish, it can be frustrating every time. Among the ones I tested, the Apple TV 4K was overwhelmingly smooth. It starts up quickly and searches are snappy. However, the price is quite high, which can be a drawback. If you have a flexible budget, it’s worth considering, but if you’re focused on cost performance, the Fire TV Stick 4K MAX is also very comfortable. It often goes on sale, so depending on timing, you can get it at a reasonable price.

On the other hand, if you prioritize affordability, there are budget models with Google TV built-in. But be prepared for longer startup times. The picture quality on full HD models might feel lacking. For 4K streaming devices, the Google TV Streamer is quite good. It has solid memory and storage, making switching between multiple apps smooth.

In conclusion, if comfort is your top priority, go for Apple TV; if cost performance matters, the Fire TV series; and if you frequently use Google services, choosing Google products is a good idea. Since streaming devices are used daily, it’s important to select one based on your own priorities.
