Wu Shuo has learned that the crypto law firm Burwick Law has filed a class-action lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) against the AI16Z and ElizaOS project teams, alleging that they may have misled investors and manipulated token prices. The lawsuit filings state that the defendants shaped the projects’ credibility through collaboration with Stanford University, publishing papers, media promotion, and fundraising activities; however, the related AI investment system was actually operated manually, and the project generated no revenue during the relevant period. The lawsuit also mentions that, after the project was renamed to ElizaOS, it carried out token migration and expanded its supply, with approximately 40% of the new token allocations going to insiders.
