Today, while reviewing screenshots halfway through, the on-chain data suddenly "stuttered," and my first reaction was that my internet was down... Then I thought, it's probably not me, but that data pipeline struggling. Subgraph/indexer has to process the new blocks before sending data to you; if nodes restart, fall behind on synchronization, or if a popular contract event is too frequent, queries will first return old data and then update with new data; RPC is the same—rate limiting makes it look like it hasn't refreshed, but actually you're just queued at the door, sometimes even giving you a timeout as if pretending to be dead. Meanwhile, funding rates are extreme, and in the group, people are arguing whether to reverse or keep pumping the bubble; a few minutes of data delay on my side can amplify emotions: you think someone is front-running, but actually you're just seeing "the past in the present." To put it plainly, don’t treat lag as a signal; admit first that it can set the rhythm for you... Forget it, I’ll go save that bizarre doji star chart.
