U.S. President Trump said on the 21st during an interview with the American Consumer News and Business Channel that he expects U.S. forces to continue bombing Iran after the ceasefire ends on the 22nd because he believes this tough stance is "more appropriate." The U.S. military is already prepared for action. Trump stated that the U.S. and Iran will ultimately reach a significant agreement, "We are in a strong negotiating position, very successful in dealing with them," "The blockade operation has been successful," "There isn't much time left." Trump also said, "I think they (Iran) have no choice, we have destroyed their navy and air force," "We are ready for military action."
