I now see cross-chain bridges and instinctively ask: who is actually "watching" the money? Multi-signature sounds secure, but it's really just afraid of having too few people; oracles are more like external alarms, one false ring and everyone wakes up annoyed. Anyway, I’d rather wait for a few more confirmations, even if the page keeps spinning and I keep refreshing/retrying, a little mental breakdown is still more comfortable than reviewing after the fact... That’s how perfectionism is—wanting certainty but there’s no such thing on the chain. By the way, recently I’ve been skeptical about the "attention mining" and fan token schemes in social mining—attention comes quickly and leaves even faster, and the risks of bridges won’t decrease just because of hype. Let’s wait and see; I’ve started waiting again.
