BlockBeats News, April 21, according to official sources, the 0G Foundation has reached a cooperation with Alibaba Cloud to bring Alibaba’s widely used large language model Qwen into blockchain infrastructure, enabling AI Agents (intelligent agents) to directly call top-tier large-model capabilities on-chain for the first time. This cooperation marks a shift in AI access from the traditional API model to a “programmable, tokenized” decentralized infrastructure, making AI model calls more automated and real-time.

Currently, although AI Agents are accelerating deployment across multiple industries, their capabilities are still constrained by how they access mainstream models. Traditional large models typically rely on centralized APIs, which require accounts, fiat settlement, and manual configuration, and are not suitable for high-frequency, automated agent interaction scenarios. Through this cooperation, 0G integrates tokenized access to the Qwen model, allowing developers and AI Agents to directly call the model for inference, decision-making, and task execution, thereby significantly lowering the access barrier and improving efficiency. In this architecture, Qwen provides intelligent inference capabilities, while 0G provides a verifiable trust layer, forming a complete closed-loop of “computation + trust.”

This cooperation also further strengthens Qwen’s position in the global AI ecosystem. As an important model series developed by Alibaba, Qwen has been widely deployed in multimodal and enterprise-level applications, and the latest version, Qwen3.6, has performed outstandingly across multiple benchmark tests. With competition among AI models intensifying, “accessibility” is becoming a key variable. Through blockchain integration, Qwen’s capabilities will expand from traditional enterprise scenarios to decentralized and autonomous systems, driving the practical application of AI Agents in natural language processing, automated decision-making, and multi-step workflows, and accelerating their large-scale deployment.
