BD’s new EU liver stent adjusts from 6 to 10 mm for tailored care
BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) has received CE Mark approval for its Liverty™ TIPS Stent Graft, a device with an adjustable diameter (6-10 mm) designed to treat complications of portal hypertension across the European Union. This next-generation stent aims to personalize therapy for patients with cirrhosis and related conditions. Safety and effectiveness data from the pivotal ARCH clinical trial for this device will be presented at the Society of Interventional Radiology Annual Meeting on April 12, 2026.
