I just saw that Singapore's Straits Times opened higher today, gaining 0.3% and reaching 5008.99 points. Nothing spectacular, but at least the Singapore market is showing some positive movement to start the session.

Meanwhile, in Malaysia, things are a bit different. The composite index fell 0.2% to 1,692.65 points at the open. So we have a mixed picture in Southeast Asia this morning. Some markets are rising, others are slightly retreating. The typical volatility of these days.
