In the past two weeks, I've come across a bunch of social mining/points tasks again, basically trading time for a "possibly useful" identity. Badges are quite similar to passport stamps; collecting them over time makes you forget where you originally wanted to go... I now mainly choose those that can seamlessly integrate into my daily on-chain activities, and I prefer not to do the others to avoid being led around by daily check-ins.

And recently, someone was complaining that on-chain data tools and tag systems are lagging behind, and I kind of agree: seeing tags like "Big Whale" or "Smart Money" is satisfying, but when you actually follow them, you find the paths have already changed or even misled you. After stepping into this trap three times, I’ve become honest: points can be treated as Easter eggs, but not as navigation. For now, I’ll just watch and see.
