Today, someone again took "whale bought" as a signal to rush in... I'm a bit tired, but I'm still watching. Frankly, that large transaction you see might be building a position, or it could just be hedging, repositioning, or even market-making replenishment. Not providing the full context before copying others is just treating oneself as liquidity.

And now, those on-chain data tools and address labels are quite mysterious, not only updating slowly but also being deliberately bypassed by people. A screenshot can easily set the tone. My obsessive-compulsive approach is: first, look at how the same address's previous and next transactions move, where the funds are coming from and going to, then see if it's executed in batches or if there's synchronized opening of opposite positions. The conclusion might not look good, but at least it’s less likely to be fooled by the words "whale." The market never rewards confidence, especially confidence in following wrong trades.
