Recently, many newcomers have been asking whether they should still buy Bitcoin, and it reminded me of a quote from the Bitcoin fanatic before—there's no need to guess the top right now because the main upward wave has just begun.

Honestly, looking at this round of market, Bitcoin has already risen to over ten thousand dollars, but for those who haven't gotten in yet, the story is just beginning. Every four years is a complete cycle, and participants' skills are indeed improving, but seasoned players have a natural advantage—we understand the power of cycles and have seen several bull and bear markets. The Bitcoin fanatic once said, don’t use your weaknesses to compete with others’ strengths; playing the long game is the way to go.

This makes me think of a phenomenon: after several bull and bear cycles, many people actually hold less Bitcoin than before. Some have sold too early, others have been cut out by various projects. Bitcoin is getting more expensive, but the amount of coins in hand is decreasing. If you ask me now whether to go all-in on Bitcoin, my answer is “up to you.”

Why do I say that? Simply put, Bitcoin is no longer something that can give you 10x or 100x returns. Now, it’s more like an asset to hedge against inflation, which is good as part of a diversified portfolio, but trying to extract more alpha from it is quite difficult. Instead of going all-in on Bitcoin, which the fanatic recommends as a single asset, it’s better to wait until Bitcoin hits a new high and then look at other opportunities in the industry. Every bull season of altcoins tends to appear after Bitcoin reaches a new high, and switching positions at that time might offer better value.

But on the other hand, now is definitely not the time to exit. During the main upward phase of Bitcoin, just stay steady and hold on tight, don’t worry too much about market fluctuations. Trust in the power of cycles, trust that this industry still has plenty of opportunities. When the market is bustling and everyone is entering, then it’s not too late to consider exiting. Everything is just beginning, no need to rush.
