BYD: Expected to build 20,000 fast-charging stations nationwide by the end of the year

BYD stated at the performance briefing on April 1 that the company’s 5,000th fast-charging station and the first batch of fast-charging high-speed stations nationwide are now operational. The company is accelerating the promotion of the “Fast Charging China” strategy, expecting to build 20,000 fast-charging stations nationwide by the end of the year, including 2,000 fast-charging high-speed stations covering nearly one-third of highway service areas, further alleviating users’ range anxiety during long-distance travel. Additionally, BYD has launched the “Dream Building” plan for fast-charging users, where as long as four BYD car owners propose simultaneously, a station can be planned and built if conditions are met.
