BYD stated at the performance briefing on April 1 that the company’s 5,000th fast-charging station and the first batch of fast-charging high-speed stations nationwide are now operational. The company is accelerating the promotion of the “Fast Charging China” strategy, expecting to build 20,000 fast-charging stations nationwide by the end of the year, including 2,000 fast-charging high-speed stations covering nearly one-third of highway service areas, further alleviating users’ range anxiety during long-distance travel. Additionally, BYD has launched the “Dream Building” plan for fast-charging users, where as long as four BYD car owners propose simultaneously, a station can be planned and built if conditions are met. The stations will be built where user demand exists and will be open to the entire society for shared use. (People’s Financial News)
