CoinWorld.net April 21 News: Mantle has issued an update regarding the KelpDAO rsETH incident, stating that the Mantle network, official bridges, and core assets remain unaffected, and the attacker never interacted with Mantle contracts or markets. The protective cross-chain suspension measures outlined in the previous statement are still in effect and will be lifted immediately once the team and ecosystem partners confirm the appropriate timing. LayerZero has confirmed that the vulnerability was limited to KelpDAO's rsETH configuration, with no other assets or applications affected. Since April 18, the total repayment of the core USD assets in the Mantle ecosystem has reached approximately $204 million, and liquidity is gradually recovering. Mantle is coordinating with the Aave team and affected protocols to develop a recovery plan, including the possible use of treasury funds.
