Lately, I've come across a bunch of people saying "Sandwich/arbitrage is back again." My first reaction isn't opportunity, but rather: the small price difference you're seeing might just be because someone is quicker + more willing to pay the transaction fee as a reward. Especially when chasing hot topics on-chain, someone like me who’s a bit slow will probably just end up as a "side dish" in the liquidity pool... Forget it.
I no longer believe in the idea that "clicking faster manually can beat bots."
Plus, recently hardware wallets have been out of stock, phishing links are rampant, and the more tense everyone gets, the easier it is to click the wrong thing. Anyway, right now I only do two things when interacting: small-scale testing and verifying domain names. If I don’t understand the signature, I don’t sign—better to miss out than save those few seconds. Long-term thinking, in essence, is about surviving first.
