I’m looking at the ASIC miner market and I see an interesting picture. Which ASIC is the most profitable this year? It depends on how cheap your electricity is, but if we calculate using the standard $0.02/kWh, then the leaders are completely different from what they were before.
Based on the data from asicminervaly for August 2025, I analyzed the top 50 devices. The picture is this: Bitmain clearly dominates — almost half of the ranking is made up of their models. But what’s interesting is that Auradine and Microbt are already seriously pushing the leader.
In the premium segment, which ASIC is the most profitable? The Antminer S21e XP Hydro from Bitmain is clearly the king. 860 TH/s with power consumption of 11.2 kW yields about $43-44 per day. This is record efficiency thanks to direct cooling of the chips. The Teraflux AH3880 from Auradine is also impressive — 600 TH/s, $29/day — and it shows that Auradine is seriously competing in the water-cooled segment.
If we look at which ASIC is the most profitable in the average range, it gets more interesting here. The Antminer S21 XP+ Hydro gives $25-26/day, the Sealminer A2 Pro Hydro — $24-25/day, and the Avalon A1566HA from Canaan — $23/day. Canaan in general keeps an unexpectedly stable lineup and doesn’t fall behind.
In the budget segment, there are also profitable options. The Whatsminer M63S at 390 TH/s — $18-19/day. The Antminer S21 Immersion (immerсионное охлаждение) — $15/day. Even old models like the Microbt M33S++ still put out about $10/day, although that’s already a completely different level.
The main trend is that water cooling has clearly taken over the top spot. But immersion and air systems remain profitable for those who don’t have millions to invest in infrastructure. Which ASIC is the most profitable specifically for you depends on your electricity costs and your cooling options. But if you take it absolutely, then Bitmain’s hydro models are still far ahead.
