Post-Kelp security incident statistics: Nearly half of LayerZero OApps still use 1-of-1 DVN configurations
Golden Finance reports that after the KelpDAO attack, Dune conducted a statistical analysis of the DVN security configurations of all active OApps on LayerZero over the past 90 days. The results show that out of approximately 2,665 independent contracts, about 47% use the lowest security level of a 1-of-1 DVN configuration, 45% use a 2-of-2 configuration, and about 5% have a 3-of-3 or higher configuration.
The analysis points out that KelpDAO’s rsETH falls into the 1-of-1 configuration category, highlighting the widespread lack of security redundancy in current cross-chain applications.
