On April 21, Bitcoin Core released version 31.0. The main updates include: improved Mempool logic, allowing nodes to more accurately assess the overall value of a set of related transactions to decide whether to retain, forward, or package them; while the impact on regular transfer users is minimal, those using RBF, CPFP, the Lightning Network, complex wallets, or server-side wallets may experience changes in transaction acceptance/rejection behavior; enhanced privacy broadcasting features now support broadcasting sendrawtransaction through Tor/I2P, ensuring that the recipient cannot ascertain the IP address and geographical location of the transaction initiator.
