Japanese company Clabo's survey report on "Tax Filing Awareness and Actual Situation" among 335 Japanese cryptocurrency investors shows that 54.03% of respondents lack confidence or cannot judge when it comes to crypto asset taxation, with only 13.43% explicitly stating they are confident. The survey also states that 41.79% of respondents find tax rules complicated, 38.81% are unsure whether they need to file, and 47.16% doubt the accuracy of online related information, indicating that Japanese retail investors still face significant barriers in understanding and practically handling crypto tax reporting.
