Recently, I've been looking at a few PFP/member pass projects again, and I realize that most of the time what I buy isn't "long-term value," but the current attention and sense of community belonging. To put it simply, whether a brand can survive depends first on whether the team can keep delivering consistently, and second on whether I can hold my position without adding more or increasing the stakes. In the past few days, the group has been circulating rumors about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and de-pegging, which makes me uneasy, but my current rule is: take screenshots of messages and save them, don't place orders immediately; wait until the emotions settle, then look at on-chain data and announcements, and only trust what can be verified. Those who have experienced zeroing out truly care more about whether the "exit button" is easy to press. PFPs look good, but I prefer to see them as tickets—if there's no content inside, I cut my losses and walk away. That's how I start.
