Abstract generation in progress

Kroger has partnered with Flashfood, a mobile app that allows grocers to sell near-expired food at a discount, to reduce food waste and offer affordable groceries. After a successful pilot in Richmond, Virginia, the program is expanding to over 100 stores in Kroger’s Mid-Atlantic division. This initiative allows customers to purchase items up to 50% off and helps divert millions of pounds of food from landfills.
