Lately, I feel like I'm doing a "version update" on my mindset: I used to think hardware wallets were the end goal, but now I see them more as a basic patch—small daily amounts stored for peace of mind, but when assets grow large, the risk isn't "will I lose it," but "when will I accidentally shoot myself in the foot." Multi-signature is like adding permission management—more trouble, but it can spread out the impact of a single point of failure. Restoring social recovery sounds very friendly, suitable for those afraid of losing their seed phrase and don't want to hassle, but the premise is that your "social contacts" are truly reliable; otherwise, it's like giving the keys to your door to someone drunk. Recently, on-chain data tools and tags have been criticized for lagging or misleading, and I feel the same: don't blindly trust "it's marked as safe," honestly, you still need to open the umbrella first, set up your hierarchy based on your asset size, and being able to sleep peacefully is the most important.
