I just saw a pretty explosive piece of news. SpaceX recently secretly submitted an IPO application, and if things go smoothly, this round of financing could be as large as $75 billion.
So what does that mean? Based on this financing scale and valuation level, SpaceX’s corporate valuation would be close to $1.5 trillion. And for Elon Musk, the impact would be even bigger—his personal net worth could break through to around the $1 trillion mark.
To be honest, that figure is quite shocking. Musk has super companies like Tesla and SpaceX, and if SpaceX’s IPO really comes to fruition, his wealth map would see another major jump. But it also reflects a phenomenon: the pace at which the wealth of top entrepreneurs accumulates is far beyond what ordinary people can imagine.
What’s interesting is that financing and valuation changes at this level often drive fluctuations in the overall sentiment of the tech and capital markets. Everything Musk does could become a barometer for the market. It feels like there will be plenty of highlights to watch for in the story going forward, and it’s worth keeping a close eye on.
