The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue a yellow rainstorm warning and a blue wind warning at 6 a.m. today.
It is expected that from 8 a.m. on April 21 to 8 a.m. on the 22nd, some areas in southeastern Chongqing, eastern Guizhou, central and southern Hunan, north and central Jiangxi, southern Anhui, western and northern Zhejiang, southern Shanghai, and northeastern Guangxi will experience heavy to torrential rain, with some areas in central Hunan, central Jiangxi, and northeastern Guangxi experiencing very heavy rain (100–140 millimeters).
Some of these areas will also have short-term heavy rainfall (maximum hourly rainfall of 20–40 millimeters, with local areas exceeding 50 millimeters), and there may be strong convective weather such as thunderstorms, strong winds, or hail. (CCTV News)
