The ceasefire deadline is approaching; the United States unilaterally "sets" the negotiation date; Iran has yet to agree to attend.

The United States and Iran began a two-week ceasefire at Beijing time on April 8th, and this round of ceasefire will end on the 22nd. So far, there has been no clear progress regarding whether the second round of talks between the US and Iran can be successfully held before the ceasefire agreement ends. US sources say “the talks are scheduled to take place,” but Iran has stated that no decision has been made yet on whether to participate in the negotiations, and the talks remain uncertain until the last moment.
