Just saw that Alex Shingler, who's been heading up income investing at BlackRock for like 18 years, is leaving early next year. Pretty wild considering he's been such a fixture in the multi-asset space there.

Alex Shingler's departure from BlackRock's pretty significant - the guy basically built out their income strategies over nearly two decades. Makes you wonder what's next for him, whether he's going independent or joining another firm. These kinds of moves always signal something brewing in the asset management world.

BlackRock's been pretty stable with their leadership, so seeing Alex Shingler step away is actually noteworthy. Curious if this is just a retirement thing or if there's bigger strategic shifts happening behind the scenes. Either way, 18 years is a solid run.
