Just now, a red dot popped up on my phone saying the transaction was confirmed, but when I clicked into the on-chain browser, it kept spinning... That kind of "lagging" feeling is all too familiar. Many times, it's not that the chain has stopped, but that the data side is queuing: the indexer/subgraph first organizes on-chain data into a searchable format, and if it's overwhelmed, there will be delays; plus, with RPC rate limiting, when you make too many requests, it feels like your internet speed is being throttled, and the page just seems unresponsive.
Airdrop season has become even more obvious lately, with task platforms messing around with witchcraft + point systems, and everyone is grinding like clocking in at work, so query volumes explode—no one should complain about slow responses. Anyway, now I tend to open two data sources for comparison, to avoid overreacting; if you really need to operate, follow the plan, and don't get itchy to click around when "stuck."
